Oi oi, Mass Movements,
I'm trying to broaden my film knowledge, cos while I can skate by in some areas, there are unimaginable, vast chasms of no-knowledge in my film experience (Only this year have I finally got round to watching Blade Runner, for instance. Still never seen a Matrix movie. Get the picture?)
What movies, in any genre, and going from the start of the art-form to the now, would you say are unmissable experiences? Hit me with your best shots.

Oh feel free, Steve. Have seen His Girl Friday, but...erm...that's it so far on that list. I do intend to knock Lawrence off this year, and have heard good things about Eyes without a face.

Nice list, Gary - don't believe I've seen any of those. Good stuff to add to my List Of No Idea...

Ding ding ding ding ding - Tim wins the prize for listing the most films I've actually seen so far - Rollerball, Black Hole, Condorman (in the movies, cos, y'know, am old), Passport To Pimlico (just weeks ago, in fact). Want to get Soylent Green and The Omega Man done fairly soon, certainly.
